Flyonoid – Use the Battle Robot to Save the Flies
Review by on
The story behind Flyonoid, an arcade game published by Alawar Entertainment, goes something like this: green aliens invaded earth, assaulted some grasshoppers, stole the ladybug’s spots, and kidnapped all the flies in the world. Also, they reportedly kidnapped a bear.

Why would the aliens do something like kidnap all the flies in the world? According to British Intelligence, the aliens are interested in finding out how the flies can live without a brain. The aliens want to find out how the lack of a brain doesn’t affect the flies, because after performing a surgical brain removal on one of their own, well, let’s just say the operation was not successful.

Out of all the flies in the world, two managed to evade the aliens – Hans and Fred. The two stumbled upon an alien combat robot that they decided to call Flyonoid. The two decided to use the combat robot to liberate the flies from their captors. They have their work cut out for them because the flies are packed inside one-gallon glass jugs and are hidden on five different planets.
